Space 05:51
Space. Floating softly into space. Who will win the human race? Hiding darkness with your faith. Down. We’re heading up, but don’t look down. Beneath you all that you have sown. Cities sparkle; all alone. Where do you go, when there’s nowhere to go? You say your back’s against the wall. What do you know, when there’s nothing to know? You truthless, ruthless know-it-all. Hell. I thought I did that yesterday. But my life got in the way. You take the credit, then I’ll pay. Where do you go, when there’s nowhere to go? You say your back’s against the wall. What do you know, when there’s nothing to know? You truthless, ruthless know-it-all. I’ve had enough. (Oh please don’t cry.) I’m going home. (Don’t say goodbye.) I’ll take my ball, don’t wanna play no more. I’ve had enough. (There’s still some time.) I’m going home. (For more thought-crime.) I’ll take my ball, don’t wanna play no more. So. And so we’re reaping what we sow. But when we planted I don’t know. It seems we never did pass go. Space. Floating softly into space. Who will win the human race? Hiding darkness with your faith.

Be that grass or water over there? Asked I, as in my hand a little sparrow lay sleeping, so peacefully. In the eyes of life lay I; the answer came like liquorish to a schoolboy. I asked you Lady Luck, “Will you marry me today?” But she just stood a-smiling sweetly at The Hypnotigon. ‘Where-oh-where, where have you been?!” The others came to scold my brain: “Your innocence is nine! And Green! The answer there is surely plain..?” I asked you Lady Luck, “Will you marry me today?” But she just stood a-smiling sweetly at The Hypnotigon. Turning slow, a sarcastic curve did spread across my face: “Surely grass is mostly water?” My foe did flee, cast in disgrace. I asked you Lady Luck, “Will you marry me today?” But she just stood a-smiling sweetly at The Hypnotigon. (Repeats) See me? Hear me? Ask me? Know me? (Repeats) How could I have been so blind? All I ask – a chance to find myself. Out of sight – out of my mind. A space to be, but not be someone else. (Repeats) Say it, sigh it, don’t deny it. Just small words – you really should try it. Borrowed courage. Borrowed Jokes. Borrowed time – and there’s the hoax.

Sounds Sacred. Sounds Sacred. Don’t sound sacred now. And in the end, that’s all there is my friend. They want you, they haunt you, they don’t need you now. And in the end, that’s all there is, my friend. I live here. I live here but I can’t live here now. And in the end, that’s all there’s meant to be. Can’t take it, can’t leave it, I can’t leave it now. And in the end, that’s all that we can know.

I say a prayer to the sea. The fruit, I plucked from the tree. I wished to set your spirit free. And We must know… (I couldn’t stop you if I tired.) What lies below… (My eyes forgave you but they lied.) Called, we all must go. (I call the tides). Oh would I were the salt sea wind, and you upon the beach would bare your breast, and let me blow until your heart I reach. Our dream insisted you must fly to where the ocean meets the sky (the only failure not to try). And we must know… Oh would I were… I wish that I were by your side; explore the words I opened wide. Awake a world that wants to hide. And we must know… Oh would I were…

Good Grief 08:48
I Sometimes feel it waiting for me. Waiting for me just to make the fatal turn – but ghosts can never harm the living with designs upon their precious souls. For a broken heart, a spoken word can hold the secret to a twisted, mystical suggestion that we are not alone. You Talk like a manic Messiah, We don’t need a doctor or liar! I thought that I could be the one but no, I’m just a man. We want somebody to brave us, to love, forgive us and save us! I thought that I could be the one but no, I’m just a man. Hold me, save me, never leave me. Just as you think you’re climbing out Your stomach will drop. Is this another beginning? Or A final full-stop? You Talk like a manic Messiah, We don’t need a doctor or liar! I thought that I could be the one but no, I’m just a man. We want somebody to brave us, to love, forgive us and save us! I thought that I could be the one but no, I’m just a man. Hold me, save me, never leave me. Fire or water; stranger or foe; long drop to freedom, or too far to go; rebellious cells or a car in the dark; a needle; a war, or a prank in the park. Nil by mouth; none of the above; a shark or a pill or a man with a glove. Time will tell; forget heaven and hell – you can’t live forever but you can live for love.

Here is the news: we’ve faked all the news, there is no new news – can’t wrap your chips in the news. You’ve seen all the lies. You’ve heard all the lies. You’ve shared all the lies, now here comes fire. The World is FUBAR. Yeah. The skies are all dark, but we can’t build an ark – the gopher has gone to fetch popcorn for God. You wanted to leave. You wanted to stay. Now have a nice day! Now, here comes fire. The world is FUBAR. Yeah. There is a myth that simpler times once spread their wings, but the naked ape got pissed on the grape and needed things. You voted them in! You let them win! Now you’re oppressed by the din! Now, here comes fire. The world is FUBAR. Yeah. Bring me your princes, bring me your Kings; bring me your mobiles and Shiny new things. Bring me your plastics and bring me your gold. Bring me your children, but slaughter the old. Bring me your sages, the crazy, the wise. The world will go blind when we’ve all got no eyes.

about

If you’ve ever had a fever dream, you’ll know only too well what one is. Vivid, hallucinatory, often disturbing. Sometimes ideas that loop and tangle themselves around your waking consciousness, demanding to be understood. For some time the worlds’ political, environmental, social and individual temperatures have been rising. We are the walking wounded. These are some of my fever dreams.
